Often the most fun I have creating art is cannibalizing my previous work. Chopping it up, copying, rearranging. This piece is one of my first forays into this type of collage. For me, this piece captures a sense of nostalgia for the good ol' days of childhood.
Watercolor / pen and ink / charcoal
Metal prints are printed on 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet really brings out the depth of the colors, to great effect.
