Nautical Jam

Originally wanted to tessellate this to create a pattern for printing on umbrellas. Turns out umbrellas are hard to make, who knew. 
Anyway, just so happens this aquatic ensemble works great as a stand alone piece as well. 
Watercolor / pen and ink

Metal prints are printed on 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet really brings out the depth of the colors, to great effect.
